Synopsis

Kitantara in Madagascar means “short stories”, but it is also  a play in which children act aloud, helping themselves with stones, short stories about everyday life.

Don Silvio, priest and magician, and three more “magicians without borders”, drive through Madagascar from north to south  listening  to the stories, hopes and dreams of the children, and  bringing to them the funds for the construction of a school in Toliara, in the south of the Isle: in this area there is the highest rate of illiteracy.

During the journey they receive meaningful testimonies from missionaries, volounteers, teachers, artists who work with children , in the isle, which the world knows better  for its landscapes, for the lemures and chameleons,  than for its social reality.
