Two souls, two memories, one music... “Alma doble” is a human and artistic encounter between two of the most important figures of the argentinian tango: Silvia Vladimivsky and Gustavo Beytelmann. Silvia is a choreographer, Gustavo a pianist and composer, working with people like Astor Piazzolla and the Gotan Project. Music and dance, for this tango that trough the interwining of memories reveals an intimately and profoundly human story. The movie follows the destiny of these two artists, in making a creation able to tell their story. During the dark years of the last dictatorship in Argentina, an exiled Gustavo found a new home in Paris, while Silvia remained in her country. These two different experiences, finds in the tango a“place” to compare each other.
